Fair Wind Sailing School Launches New Docking Instruction
Sandusky, OH (PRWeb) February 2, 2007 -- Fair Wind Sailing School -- America's Best Sailing School -- (http://www.fairwindsailng.com) announces the opening of its new Docking Bootcamp sailing lessons from its Lake Erie sailing base in Sandusky, OH. Docking Bootcamp will be an all day class focusing solely on the techniques, skills and theory of docking. "For most people, docking is the toughest maneuver of the day. This class will provide the techniques and knowledge necessary to get a boat on and off the dock confidently," commented David Bello, President of Fair Wind Sailing School. "This class will benefit both sailors and power boaters alike," he continued.
Fair Wind's Docking Bootcamp will be run from 9-4 on Saturdays and will include instruction on docking theory, practices and techniques. "The class will spend 5-6 hours just pulling boats on and off the dock -- students are likely to get a season's worth of docking practice in one day," said Bello. The Docking Bootcamp lessons will be taught in addition to Fair Wind's ASA Certification curriculum. Fair Wind Sailing School currently offers its Instant Bareboater sailing lessons in Ohio. This class teaches ASA 101, 103 and 104 in a week-long, live-aboard setting and is perfect sailing instruction for those preparing to bareboat charter or buy a boat. Fair Wind will also teach its Instant Cruiser course -- a weekend, live-aboard class covering the material in ASA 101 and 103, as well as offer all of its vessels for both captained and bareboat charters.
